Welcome to my website, which collates my research and policy publications.
I have worked as (Principal) Economist at the European Central Bank since 2012. Most of my time has been spent with the European Systemic Risk Board, serving its Advisory Scientific Committee and High-Level Task Force on Safe Assets. I have also worked in the ECB's Financial Research Division. In addition to my role at the ECB, I am a member of the Euro-nomics group of European economists. As a group, we have designed and advocated for a common safe asset created by pooling and tranching euro government debt. Over 2015-16 I visited Princeton University's Economics Department and Bendheim Center for Finance. From 2009-12 I was an associate in the Financial Stability Department of the UK Financial Services Authority before its merger with the Bank of England. I hold a first-class degree in economics, politics and philosophy from Oxford University. |
