Welcome to my website, which collates my research and policy publications.
Since 2012, I have been (Principal) Economist at the European Central Bank. Most of my time has been spent at the European Systemic Risk Board Secretariat, where I have supported the Advisory Scientific Committee and High-Level Task Force on Safe Assets. I have also worked in the ECB's Financial Research Division.
In addition to my role at the ECB, I am a member of the Euro-nomics group of European economists. As a group, we have advocated for the creation of sovereign bond-backed securities for the euro area.
Over 2015-16 I visited Princeton University's Economics Department and Bendheim Center for Finance. From 2009-12 I was an associate in the Financial Stability Department of the UK Financial Services Authority before its merger with the Bank of England. I hold a first-class degree in economics, politics and philosophy from Oxford University.
Disclaimer: this site is my own; it has nothing to do with the ECB, ESRB or Bank of England.
